Little Bean Theatre 小豆釘 is the first and only English-Cantonese bilingual family theatre company in the UK.
The company was set up by a group of London-based Hong Konger artists and educators in 2018 in recognition of Cantonese as the most spoken Chinese language in households in the U.K. and ESEA artists being underrepresented in the arts, particularly for those making works for children and families.
Little Bean’s work has been presented in CAN Festival, VAULT Festival, Let’s Do London Festival, Little Angel Theatre, Greenwich Theatre, Tramshed, West Kowloon Cultural District (Hong Kong) and more.
