Art Forest School: Den Weaving

Art Forest School (Lucy and Pippa) would like to invite you to join a new series of exciting accessible Art Forest School events.

For this event we will be located at the Good Shepherd Studios Garden for a new workshop; Den Weaving!

The workshop will give children an opportunity to make art in a way that appeals to their inbuilt inquisitiveness and creativity, and aims to have a calming effect by using natural sensory materials.

Art Forest School design workshops so that children and young people with disabilities are given the opportunity to engage creatively with materials and process, and have their output given the same weight and attention as any other artwork. They have ranged from giant weaving to cave painting, from sand gardens to polaroid photography - all with the intention to be not only as accessible as possible, but as compelling and - crucially - as valued.

This session is designed to be inclusive, please do contact us if you want to discuss your child’s access needs.
