Unruly Ecologies is an Art and Ecology reading group for people who don’t necessarily like reading groups. No need to read anything in advance.

With guidance from artist and educator Laura Villares House, this session will explore:

What happens when we stop thinking of organisms as independent individuals?

Through extracts from writing by Merlin Sheldrake (Entangled Life) and Robin Wall Kimmerer (Braiding Sweetgrass), and considering the insights of our Guest of Honour, a fungus, we'll consider symbiosis and reciprocity, and do a gentle art activity to respond creatively and collectively to these ideas.
